Organisational Workshops
The workshop I attended today was so great. I didn't have any expectations walking into the workshop, but boy did I walk out with great spirit. Thank you for your time!

Had a Connections Counselling corporate training for our staff team and it was very helpful for our organisation. We were able to understand even more about self-care, supporting individuals in their mental health, and learning mechanisms for identification of emotions and current well being. Highly recommend for those operating in ministry in team, or when covering individuals.

Pause Retreats
I've accessed support from Connections healthcare in the past and found staff to be so caring and helpful. Recently I've attended a Pause Retreat run by Connections and found that staff in attendance were amazing. Everything was beautifully prepared for us to find stillness in a busy world.
What an incredible weekend of rest, connection, being resourced and inspired….and just so many beautiful, precious God moments. Lyn created a sacred space for learning, growing and being nurtured. It felt safe. It felt warm and welcoming. And by the end, the multigenerational group of women felt like family. I am leaving this weekend feeling well rested, refreshed, equipped and inspired to make some much needed change to my busy lifestyle.
What an amazing, fulfilling & God filled experience! I feel so refreshed, empowered and ready to put all that I have learnt into practice! Thank you so so much for creating such a peaceful and harmonious space! Highly recommend going to this retreat at least once in your life!! 💞💕
It was a beautiful experience that I had here. The facilities were great and Lyn was warm and welcoming. The time spend here really helped me to reflect and recharge and I got closer to God. Highly recommended.

We were invited to speak at a staff meeting at Connections Healthcare Centre in Victoria Park. The location itself has a relaxing ambience, is set up very well, which caters for a range of counselling and professional services. Lyn is a lovely lady who has a heart to help and meet the needs of others. I have been a client of Connections for several years, and appreciate their new premises in Vic Park. Not only because it is nearer to me, but because it is done so beautifully. The decor is tasteful and calming. There's even a lift, which I used when I had bursitis!
Lyn is a fantastic counsellor. I don't have to pretend but can be myself warts and all. She helps me to nut things out and get things in perspective (which is sometimes that this IS a big thing... as I tend to minimise!).
I highly recommend Connections Healthcare Centre! I struggled with depression for years and the well meaning but unhelpful advices of previous counselors made me feel desperate that I would never get out of it. Often with counselors you keep analyzing trauma, get some advice, but don’t actually learn the tools to process trauma and change. That’s absolutely not the case here! Lyn is a highly skilled counselor who knows how to help you confront and process trauma and teaches you very helpful and effective tools that enable you to grow and change. She lives out in her sessions what it looks like to be truly welcome as you are and still be challenged with the bare truth. Her honesty, work ethic, expertise, efficiency, sense of humor, kindness, personal approach, make working with her a delight!
Hope Alive Group Therapy
I have been to so many therapists, counsellors and psychologists with no lasting change or growth. Connections Healthcare Centre however was the catalyst for change in my life and the lives of my children. I have had one on one counselling where I felt heard, was held accountable for the areas I needed to address and grow in and given the tools to do so.
I have also gone through the Hope Alive program offered through Connections. I cannot recommend this enough to ANYONE who wants to really understand themselves and learn to move forward with lasting healing change. I tell everyone who asks how I got to where I am from where I was that this was the ultimate tool God used. It saved my life and my children's lives quite literally. And the Impact has been ongoing and overflowing to the rest of my family and others around me.
I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for the work Lyn and her team have done and continue to do.
I went to Hope Alive a very angry person, I had carried the anger for 63 years. I feared for myself and all around me. Hope Alive not only gave me back my life but also taught me to trust others again.
Because of the healing and skills I have learnt, I am stopping the cycle of neglect and abuse and my children are benefiting from all the hard work I have done.
10th Year Anniversary Celebration of Connections (September 2022)
It was lovely to see treasured friends today and the whole event was a blessing. I enjoyed listening to Fred and Karen's authentic, down to earth and practical discussion as well as Lyn and Linda's testimonies. It was a blessing to see Lyn pray for Stacey's baby. I enjoyed having a discussion with the South Perth Baptist Pastor who i found to be open and helpful. I was blessed to be able to enjoy a gluten free cupcake and some fresh fruit for morning tea.
Thank you Lyn and Connections Counselling Perth's staff for allowing God to use you to bless so many hurting people.
I was fortunate to attend the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Connections, a few weeks ago. It was a very informative and also thought provoking event. I personally found it most enlightening and extremely well organised and presented. So very pleased I was able to attend.
